You Can Do It! Education’s main purpose is to support communities, schools and homes in a collective effort to optimise the social, emotional, and academic outcomes of all young people.
To educate students to become independent lifelong learners, who respect themselves and others, develop a sense of equality, participate in their communities and understand the need to maintain sustainable environmental systems.
We have now started our 2017 enrolment process. New families who are interested in enrolling at Wedge Park PS need to reside within our 'school neighbourhood'. Please contact us if you require information regarding whether you live within our boundary.

Principal's Message
Wedge Park has been established for 32 years and in this time has built a strong reputation for being a caring school along with high academic standards. Currently the school has a population of 730 students. The school over the past 10 years has been rebuilt and now has facilities that are world class. The school environment is well maintained with students being responsible for areas of our school gardens. The school has been at the forefront with Multi media education with ICT equipment embedded in all classrooms. Currently the school has a 1 to 2 students laptop program in grade 5 and 6, while our students are using Ipads in grade 3 and 4. Our soon to be completed television studio will enhance this.
The school places an emphasis on Physical activity and hence runs a house type sporting program amongst grade 3 and 4 students as well as grade 5 and 6 students. All students attend PMP (Prep- 2) or PE on a weekly basis.
The school curriculum places a daily emphasis on reading, numeracy and writing. This is complemented by students attending an Arts program which includes music and performing arts. Library or Literature sessions are also held on a weekly basis. The Inquiry approach to learning is the foundation upon which all programs are based. Student welfare is ongoing with the 'You can do it' program as the school guide.
